Vivo! Ristorante recently opened its doors in downtown Windsor. Your hosts, Chef Rino Bortolin (formerly of Ristorante Nico in Windsor) and his wife Anastasia, invite you to experience Italian cuisine at its finest. Classic Italian dishes are infused with a modern twist to create a refreshingly unique menu. The chef recommends his homemade gnocchi in a portabello and porcini mushroom cream sauce, the blended avocado cream sauce served over rigatoni, or the New Zealand rack of lamb coated in an orange-mango glaze and served with an herbed gorgonzola potato puree. The fresh, homemade pastas and the large number of vegetarian selections should impress even the most discerning diner. The atmosphere of Vivo! is inviting and intimate, with warmly painted walls and live piano music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations are recommended.
