TAXES AND HOSE PARTY for Detroit Reforesters with Bixy Lutz, Katie Grace,and Emily Rose

Time for the annual musical fun-raiser to help with our reforestation efforts. Detroit Reforesters is a very small 501-c3 nonprofit of ecologists working to restore native biodiversity to long-neglected lots around the city. Last year was our first active summer, and we successfully de-trashed and planted a variety of trees and shrubs on several abandoned properties with a very limited budget--all crowdsourced from an indiegogo and a couple concert fundraising events. We also purchased a couple lots of our own, one to serve as a nursery for our babies until ready for planting season. In addition to the money we've spend on baby trees there ARE a few other expenses that arise...We are in need of a special new hose that will make our watering of these lots exponentially easier (try watering 100 trees lugging buckets in 100 degree heat....) as well as paying the property taxes for our two lots :) Any funds raised in excess of those needs will be spent on beautifying and producing educational signage.
