These Baltimore dudes play experimental psychedelic music, two words that raise a few hackles by them themselves but, put them together and you can see the cringes up and down the country. The junior Deadheads love this shit, though, the hipsters have been pouring out of (and into) Brooklyn of late hailing all things freak-folk and hoping for lots of bands who sound like Grizzly Bear and Bright Eyes. In 12 years, these guys have released 10 studio albums, which is impressively prolific by today’s standards. You have to admire a band with a work ethic. Dan Deacon opens the show.
