DRI

DRI (their full name is Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) come from the same school of thrash metal-hardcore punk crossover as Suicidal Tendencies and the Stormtroopers of Death. The band formed in Houston in ’82, and since then has influenced everyone from Anthrax to Sick of it All. DRI has an eighth studio album on the way, and the smart money says that there will be no surprises. Expect balls-to-the-wall, heavy-as-hell, riotous music that inspires all manner of circle pit craziness and shirts-off machismo. Nuke & the Hellriders, Don’t Ask, Cellblock Earth and Reptilian Brain are also on the bill.
