"The Magic Bag is the home of the Wednesday and Thursday Night Brew & View which lets the viewer enjoy a first-run movie in a nightclub setting. The Bag also plays host to many national touring acts and the best in local artists. Acts that have played the Magic Bag include Galactic, Violent Femmes, G. Love and Special Sauce, Smash Mouth, Charlie Hunter, Koko Taylor, the Meters and Bo Diddley. In 1999 the Magic Bag was voted 'Best Venue To See Live Music' by the Metro Times."
