Nick Offerman
The comedy show Parks and Recreation is undeniably funny. It has rivaled The Office for about three seasons now. But within the seriously talented cast, there is a stand-out character — Nick Offerman’s Ron Swanson, the dour, good-hearted but incredibly dry beacon of masculinity and republicanism. His disdain for vegetarianism and anything foofy is only bettered by the fact that he both hates and works for the government. How much of Swanson comes from the writers and how much comes directly from Offerman is tough to tell, but we’re betting he’ll have plenty to offer Royal Oak on Friday.
