Darkness
The Darkness had hits all over the world and was headlining major festivals just two albums in when the band inexplicably split in 2006. They spent five years flapping around like beached tuna, desperate to recapture past glories with a new project. However, in 2011 they all realized that they needed each other and the Darkness was back. Since then, they have been kicking ass all over the world once again with their Queen-meets-Thin Lizzy, operatic classic rock mother tunes.
There truly ain’t no party like a Darkness party and, with Slum Village playing at the Magic Stick upstairs, this building is the place to be on Friday.
