White Shag

The Loving Touch, near the WAB in Ferndale, is becoming one of the coolest places in metro Detroit to play, thanks in no small part of the awesome decor left over from its past life as a dodgy massage parlor, and partly because of the awesome sound system the owners installed. White Shag should feel right at home there, with its sleazy blues rock licks, skimpy outfits and big moustaches. Throw the Hit Society, Anastasia Gold and the Precious Few into the mix and we have a hell of a bill. It’s a joint birthday party for a few band members too, so expect the drinking to be heavy.
