Sweet Willie Tea

Sweet Willie Tea is a Michigan guitarist whose real name is Bill Toll. We’re not sure if “Sweet Willie Tea” is supposed to be a reference to pee, but it sure sounds like it. Anyway, this guy plays old-school, authentic, traditional blues like the masters of old. His instruments look banged-up and fucked, and his main picture on Facebook has him sat in what looks like a front yard next to his dog, who is wearing a bandana. Sometimes, just sometimes, a picture doesn’t need any sort of caption. A fundraiser for the Detroit Blues Society, Lady Sunshine & the X Band also will play.
