Lightning Love / Wett Nurse
Here’s the thing with Lightning Love — they seem to be all sweet and innocent, but they’re sly. First of all, all three of them could probably drink you under the table. Every bar owner in metro Detroit has been left scrambling for their suppliers’ phone number after a visit from the Lighting Love trio. In addition, those songs might sound like quirky pop hits, but the lyrics reveal that, sometimes, all is not well in Leah Diehl’s world. Still, they happen to be one of the best bands in the area, and they get better with every passing year. Wett Nurse rounds off the bill.
