Saint Cecilia / The Strange

The members of Saint Cecilia have an odd story that involves Fleetwood Mac. Don’t pretend that you’re not intrigued. The story goes that Mac daddy (or the Big Mac) Jeremy Spencer was in the Motor City recording a solo album, and he somehow heard the three guys playing and he decided that he must have them. So he got them. When all of that rock ’n’ roll excitement was over, the three guys decided to stick together and so they formed Saint Cecilia and have been playing shows ever since. Don’t let Spencer’s absence put you off though — these guys have enough soulful rock charisma to hold your attention by themselves.
