Country music stars called Randy are about as unusual as snow during a Michigan winter, but Randy Houser has proven that there is apparently always room for one more. The Nashville-based singer signed to Universal in 2008 and celebrated with the chart smash single “Anything Goes.” This year will see Houser release his third album, How Country Feels, his first for his new label, Stoney Creek. If one were to analyze that album title, it would be easy to come to the conclusion that country feels like a mildly pleasant night on the town with a stylized good ol’ boy, or like a watered-down Merle Haggard.
