Soul Jazz Orchestra

There’s really nothing like wearing your style on your sleeve, and if anybody really wants to know what the Soul Jazz Orchestra sounds like, they really only need to look at the name. It’s soul, it’s jazz, and it’s mildly orchestral. Hailing from Ottawa, the SJO are a multicultural melting pot of race, sex and style, and they call themselves “Canada’s hardest working supergroup.” We would think that Brian Adams’ boys might have something to say about that. These guys have been together for 10 years, and they seemed to have soaked in the sounds of another country during each of those 10 years. You want world music? You got it.
