Babies, Bad Indians, Chit Chat
Not to be confused with the Babys, the British hard rock-pop band that featured future Bad English frontman John Waite, these Babies are something of a Brooklyn supergroup, featuring Cassie Ramone of the Vivian Girls alongside members of Woods and Bossy. We in Detroit can relate to musicians playing in a bunch of bands and doing the incest thing, and the fact that these peeps sound like a poppy Sonic Youth is also appealing. Throw in the fact that Bad Indians and Chit-Chat are opening, and you have a killer, free show.
