Lamb of God
OUT OF JAIL AND EXTRA-PISSED
Last summer, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe spent five weeks in a Czech prison on manslaughter charges after allegedly pushing a stage invader from the stage. The attendee later died, and Blythe, now out on bail, “has denied his actions were intentional and has promised to return for the trial,” according to Billboard. For the last month, his band of thrash metal titans — Lamb of God, based in Richmond, Va. — has been back on the road. As if Blythe weren’t angry enough before, he has his experience in a Prague penitentiary to fire him up. When that experience spews out in the form of gravelly, Cookie Monster vocals, it will likely be intense. The bill includes Flames, Hellyeah and Sylosis.
