Michael Franks & Rachelle Ferrell Live
We feel like we should go to this one just to see whether there’ll be outlandish shows of pedal extremities. Don’t know what we’re getting at? Don’t you think that every jazz-positive foot fetishist in driving distance will show up for a concert by the guy who wrote “Popsicle Toes”? OK, the humorous “When Sly Calls (Don’t Touch That Phone)” was Michael Franks’ biggest hit, and he’s got a whole laid-back jazzy vibe going that’s his real attraction. And this billing with Rachelle Ferrell — as hot as Franks is cool — covers a couple thermostat settings.
