Though he never stopped making music for so long, Leonard Cohen pretty much bowed out of public performances for 15 years, and fans might well have assumed that it was good. Then, in 2008, he hit the road as a touring act, and fans might well have assumed that this would be their only chance to see him. Four years later, he’s still at it, but he may or may not turn into a Dylanesque endless-road warrior — and there are actuarial odds to consider too in the event you miss this tour’s Detroit stop. As to his artistry, one word: “Hallelujuah.”
