Third Annual Colin Hubbell Fund - Midtown Bike Ride
The annual Collin Hubbell ride is held in honor of the late Detroit advocate, known as a lover of all things Motown. To continue the work Hubbell did for the city, funds from the ride benefit the Colin Hubbell Fund, which provides grants to projects and businesses that contribute to the physical infrastructure and community building of Detroit neighborhoods. The rides have funded 38 projects to the tune of $70,000 since 2009.See detroitmidtown.com for details and registration. Departs from Traffic Jam & Snug, 511 W. Canfield, Detroit, 313-831-9470. Day-of registration is at 8:30 a.m., ride begins an hour later. Riders can take 22- or 8-mile routes. Adults $25, children 12 and under $20.
