African World Festival
For its 30th anniversary, the African World Festival moves from Hart Plaza to a new location: the grounds of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Attractions include former Detroiter (now based in Japan) Harvey Thompson, the Rowe Niodior Dance Company (Senegalese-style), the Detroit Reggae all-Stars and Notorious Entertainment musicians led by Keith Ferguson, just to note Sunday from 7:30 p.m. on.
