June 16 is the day that Leopold Bloom took his legendary stroll around Dublin in James Joyce’s Ulysess, celebrated the world over as Bloomsday. Here in the Motor City, the amble is celebrated a few days early by the Irish Cultural Forum, holding its 25th annual Bloomsday event this year. The festive evening features readings, music from Jim Perkins, complimentary grub and a sale of used books about the Emerald Isle.
