Irish pubs, which have long been a feature of the American drinking scene, have become a worldwide phenomenon, flourishing in such unlikely venues as Moscow and Tokyo. And so it makes sense that the Blarney Stone's everyday menu is all-American pub grub. The Susie-Q-Fish & Chips dinner ($10.95) is based on the original recipe of the celebrated drive-in restaurant. Burton fries his freshly-cut scrod encased in a secret-recipe batter that emerges as a thick, crispy but surprisingly light crust, accompanied by house-made tartar sauce and Susie's vinegar-based cole slaw. Try the order of five flavorful burger sliders ($5.95) - with pickles, onions and a tomato-mustard sauce. There are 10 other burger varieties, including, again for the health-conscious, bison or turkey.
On the banks of the Huron River, an old English-style eatery in a country setting. Frog legs, onion pie, salads, seafood, beef and chicken dishes. A stir-fry, some schnitzel and even a Bombay curry.

These Californian pop-punks have been raising hell with their ultra-catchy ditties since ’91, which means they’ve been terrorizing youngsters with their hooks for 22 years. Not that we like inflating west coast punk or anything, but holy shit they’ve released some great music in that time. 2002’s How to Ruin Everything album was basically a masterpiece, and the split EP they put out that same year with the Dropkick Murphys wasn’t too shabby either. They broke up in 2004, but got back together in 2008, and now they’re warmed up. Teenage Bottle Rocket, Black List Royals and Joshua Black Wilkins also play.
With Emily Rose, Audra Kubat, Jay Graves, John Kay, and Man Francisco. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hater Kitty Rescue Army a local cat rescue group who shelters, feeds, fixes, and fosters cats in need.
